Salmopet is fish oil produced from high quality Norwegian salmon. The oil contains Omega 3 and Omega 6, and has an EPA/DHA-content on 15-25%. These are healthy for animals just as they are for us.

What is SALMOPET?
SALMOPET salmon oil is the only product on the market produced without additives. The oil smells and tastes as fish, dogs just love it and it makes it easier to get pets to eat dry fodder.

Why give fish oil to pets?
Fatty acids are essential in many physiological processes. The Omega 3 acids are just as important to dogs as they are to humans and often exist at only low levels in many pet foods. It is a documented fact that fish oil is healthy for dogs and cats with skin and fur problems.

After 7-21 days of use, SALMOPET will improve many problems such as itch, chapped paws, dundraff, faint fur and moulting. In human medicine we use Omega-acids to prevent heart problems and arthritis. Omega 3 acids are important of the development of the brain and the eyes and can be given to breastfeeding dogs and puppies. How to use SALMOPET?
Salmon oil can be given daily, just add a portion to each meal. The oil will keep fresh for 3 months when opened and 18 months when unopened.

Manufacturer"s Recommendation for Dogs and Cats per Animal:

Weight Below 5 kg 5 - 15 kg 15 - 30 kg over 30 kg

Daily Dose 2.5 ml (0,5 tsp.) 5.0 ml (1 tsp.) 10.0 ml (2 tsp.) 15.0 ml (3 tsp.)

Salmopet Salmon Oil is readily accepted by dogs and cats. Start with 1/3 of the recommended daily dose and increase the amount to the full dose over the next 7 - 14 days. Feed together with daily food - once per day. Exact dosage is important, there are no additional benefits to be gained from exceeding the recommended dose.
