Julius Guide/Blind Dog 'Type 2' Power Harness

Guide dogs wear a harness for very long periods of time and until now they don"t seem to have advanced at all over the years.

We searched high and low to find a manufacturer (we eventually found one in Hungary) who could produce a guide dog harness for the 21st century. We can say with confidence, we have never seen a better guide dog harness.

The Julius Guide Dog Harness has the following features:

• Extra Comfort: These guide dog harnesses are double lined with tough easy clean vinyl on the outside and comfortable fabric on the inside (with thick padding in between). All double stitched for durability with thick reflective thread.
• Wide Webbing: 2 inch (5cm) wide webbing on the girth and breat straps reduces rubbing, thus giving greater comfort to your guide dog. A reflective strip is fitted to the breast strap.
• Storage: Each julius Guide Dog Harness has a 14cm x 14cm storage pocket on each side (with velcro and press studd flaps).
• Quick fitting and removal: Large quick release clips for easy fitting and release. The aluminium handle is attached with quick release alloy clips.
• Grab Handle and Lead Hoop: At the top of the Julius Guide Dog Harness is a 2-ply webbing grap handle that velcros down when not in use. They are also fitted with a large easy to use stainless steel lead attachment.

How to measure up:

Harness sizes are based on your dog"s "girth" measurement, see diagram below. The harnesses are adjustable, so select the size nearest your dog"s measurement.
