A 22% granulate formulation of Fenbendazole PhEur. as a ready to administer oral anthelmintic for dogs cats puppies and kittens. 1 g Panacur Granules contains 0.22 g active ingredient Fenbendazole PhEur.

Uses:

General purpose wormer for cats and dogs - contains fenbendazole.

A broad-spectrum anthelmintic for the treatment of domestic dogs and cats infected with immature and mature stages of roundworms of the gastro-intestinal and respiratory tracts. Panacur also has an ovicidal effect on nematode eggs.

Adult dogs and cats

For the treatment of adult dogs and cats infected with gastro-intestinal roundworms and tapeworms: Ascarid spp. (Toxocara canis Toxocara cati and Toxascaris leonina) Ancylostoma spp. Trichuris spp. Uncinaria spp. Taenia spp.

Puppies and kittens

For the treatment of weaned puppies and kittens infected with gastro-intestinal roundworms and puppies infected with protozoa (Giardia spp.)

Pregnant bitches

For the treatment of pregnant bitches to reduce prenatal infections of Toxocara canis and the transfer of T.canis and Ancylostoma caninum to their pups via the milk.

Other Also for the treatment of dogs infected with lungworm Oslerus (Filaroides) osleri or protozoa Giardia spp. and cats infected with lungworm Aelurostrongylus abstrusus.

Treatment Plan:

Administer one 1.8 gram sachet per 4 Kg as a single dose
Administer one 4.5 gram sachet per 10 Kg as a single dose

• 2-4 Kg bodyweight = One 1.8 gram sachet
• 4-8 Kg bodyweight = Two 1.8 gram sachets
• 5-10 Kg bodyweight = One 4.5 gram sachet
• 11-20 Kg bodyweight = Two 4.5 gram sachets
• 21-30 Kg bodyweight = Three 4.5 gram sachets
• 31-40 Kg bodyweight = Four 4.5 gram sachets
• 41-50 Kg bodyweight = Five 4.5 gram sachets

For dogs weighing over 50 Kg an extra 4.5 gram sachet is required for each 10 Kg of bodyweight.

Weaned puppies and kittens under 6 months of age
• Administer 1 sachet per 8Kg daily for 3 consecutive days
• Smaller or unweaned puppies can be treated with Drontal puppy suspension

Pregnant Bitches:
• Administer 25mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lbs) bodyweight daily from day 40 of pregnancy continuously to 2 days post-whelping (approximately 25 days).

• Pregnant Queens:Pregnant queens can be safely treated with Panacur Granules but only require a single treatment at the routine adult dose rate, as there is no pre-natal transfer of worm larvae in the queen. Administer 100mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lb) bodyweight as a single dose.
