Unlike other products, the ability to make sensitivity and bark frequency adjustments reduces the likelihood of the unit being triggered by noises other than barking. Dogs soon learn that the uncomfortable ultrasonic sound produced by the unit is as an immediate result of its barking.

Please note that dogs with hearing difficulties may well ignore the sounds emmitted. This is also true where the problem environment has alot of other loud noises close to the dogs.

Please note that in cases where two dogs are barking the use of a spray collar may be more appropriate (see related items below). This minimises the both animals being punished when only one may be barking.

Note from our behaviourist: As with all anti-bark products, they do not deal with the underlying causes of the dog"s barking. This should be dealt with at the same time as using this product. If within a 2-3 week period you have not noticed a significant reduction in the overall amount of barking, especially at night, then you have a more serious barking problem than just simple unnecessary nuisance and you will need to seek help from a dog behaviourist.
